The NSTAC (“N-STACK”) PROJECT:

People struggling with mental illness and emotional problems have long been subject to STIGMA. What does that mean? It means viewing such people as different. Flawed. There’s a lot of DE-HUMNIZING in stigma. It means drawing a thick line between them and us. And, we can put ourselves on either side of that line. For those of us that have had to struggle with mental illness or emotional problems, we can see ourselves as fundamentally flawed.

But stigma robs us all of our humanity.

NSTAC is a documentary and docu-drama film project aimed at helping us all to see the very human side of mental illness and those struggling with emotional problems. Our films show the courage, despair, wisdom, confusion, hopes, and even humor of this side of humanity.
